The Slovenian Day in Slatina celebrated its 10th anniversary. In Slatina, June 22 was a cheerful and festive day.

Again this year, the Association Triglav, associations of Italians, Montenegrins and Czechs, the Tourist Board of the municipality of Laktaši, as well as a winery from Slatina "Babić" presented themselves at the stands. A special feature of this celebration was the Bibliobus, which aroused great interest among visitors. Everyone could come in and look at the offer of books that the bibliobus has, and especially the section with books in Slovenian.

The program started shortly after 4pm. Visitors were greeted by Dušan Tomažič from Maribor, who on this occasion the grapevine of the oldest vine in Maribor donated to the Triglav Association. On behalf of the Triglav Association, guests were welcomed by host Mladen Lunić. The attendees were also greeted by Consul of the Consular Office of the Embassy of Slovenia in Banja Luka Marjan Ristič, followed by Deputy Mayor of Laktaši Miroslav Kodžoman.

The music part of the program was opened by guests from Slovenia - folk group Podkuca Naklo and young singer FS Podkuca. They were followed by the hosts of the Mixed Choir "Davorin Jenko" and the Children's Folklore Group of the "Triglav" Association. The ensemble introduced us to the traditional Slovenian "merry-go-round" by Gašpar Kavšek.
