On Saturday, 30 June in the village of Piskavica, the traditional 13th ethno festival Kozara etno 2017 was opened.

At the festival there performed participants from 8 countries: Slovenia, Serbia, BiH, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece and Ethiopia. They performed in different art categories: playing on different traditional instruments, women and men vocal groups or as folklore groups. The visitors to the festival could see many stands exhibiting and selling handicraft and culinary specialties.

The Association of the Slovenians of the RS Triglav from Banjaluka, together with the Association for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto, presented renowned cuisine and wine from Bela Krajina as well as the latest bulletin of the Association. Many visitors to the festival were interested in the stand as many of them said they had spent some time in Slovenia carrying nice memories from there.
