Alliance of Slovenian Associations in BiH „Europe Now“ and Association of citizens of Slovenian origin Tuzla, organised the 4th Regional Art Colony „Slovenians in Tuzla 2017“ from Monday 14 August to Saturday 19 August 2017.

It was the fourth time that the artists of Slovenian origin from all over BiH and region had the opportunity to create in a beautiful environment of the Peace Flame House in Tuzla. Art colony gathered artists from BiH, Croatia, Slovenia, Canada and Serbia. There participated seventeen academic and freelance artists of Slovenian origin, coming from all over the world. A member of our Association Tatjana Ratković Bosnić also participated in the colony.

As part of the 4th Regional Art Colony a workshop for children took place with the participation of young artists, pupils of elementary schools from Tuzla. On the last two days, 17-18 August 2017, they joined the artists at the colony, painted with them, learned from them and exchanged experience and ideas for their works.

The final event of the colony was the exhibition of paintings where seventeen artists presented their art works made during the previous six days inspired by Tuzla. The cultural programme included the performance of Women choir „Slovenčice“ from Tuzla. The exhibition was opened by mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović.
