The quiz, taking place on Saturday, 21 October, in the Jewish Centre in Banjaluka, was a great opportunity to learn many things about Slovenia: its towns and cities, mountains, lakes, sights, customs and food. The quiz was organised by the Association Triglav, and it was prepared and conducted by Darko Hederih and Pavle Ravnohrib.

This was the fifth quiz for Slovenians in BiH, while in the previous ones participants answered questions about animals, sport, food and water. Quiz is an opportunity for pupils and students of Slovenian from all over BiH to show their knowledge, while the emphasis was on pleasant socialising. Teams were from Tuzla, Kakanj, Zenica, Sarajevo, Teslić, Prijedor, Banjaluka and Slatina, whereas guests from Serbia (Niš and Novi Sad) also joined us. The best knowledge was shown by pupils/students from the Association of Slovenians Lipa Prijedor, the second were young members of the Association of citizens of Slovenian origin Tuzla, and the third were the hosts – members of the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banjaluka. Audience who enjoyed the interesting competition, applauded them all as all participants showed a lot of knowledge about Slovenia although some of them rarely have the opportunity for visit.
