CHALLENGES OF INTERCULTURAL COEXISTENCE

From Thursday, 17 May to Saturday, 19 May, there were 11 expert associates from Slovenia visiting Banjaluka. They participate in the project Challenges of intercultural coexistence.
On 19 May 2018, Mixed choir Davorin Jenko from Banjaluka, travelled for a return visit to Postojna, or more precisely to Knežak, 20 kilometres from Postojna.
On 18 May 2018 (Friday) at 19.00 hrs an independent exhibition of paintings named „Blue“ by artist Tatjana Ratković Bosnić, member of the Association Triglav was officially opened.
Pupils and students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Banjaluka visited their peers from Kranj last year in May for the first time. Pupils socialised with pupils of Elementary School France Prešeren, and students with students of Grammar School France Prešeren.
Spring is time for excursion. Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian and members of Association Triglav visited central Slovenia, Dolenjska, Štajerska and Prekmurje in the past years. This year our aim was Gorenjska.
On Friday, 27 April 2018 the Association Triglav organised a concert “Singing among friends” in the Youth Centre in Banjaluka. The concert was organised on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the Association.
The Book Night is an international event gathering readers of all generations on the World Book Day on 23 April. It is already the third year that we joined marking the day in Banja Luka.
The Association of the Slovenians of the RS Triglav Banja Luka marks twenty years of successful work this year. On that occasion, mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojičić received a delegation from the Republic of Slovenia on Friday, 13 April 2018. The main topic was the cooperation in different areas.
All those learning Slovenian in supply teaching lessons in BiH gathered on 24 and 25 March in Sarajevo. It was organised by the Union of Slovenian Associations in BiH “Europe Now”, and prepared by Slovenian association Cankar Sarajevo.
Pupils and students of Supply teaching lessons present Slovenian language and literature every year at the Children Library Borik in Banja Luka. Head of Section Ms. Aleksandra Čvorović invites pupils of neighbouring schools who are always interested in lessons we prepare.
