The opening of an exhibition of photographs by a famous Slovenian photographer, master of photography, a retired stomatologist, Rafael Podobnik, winner of many national and international awards in the field of photography, was organised on 28 June 2014, in Gerontological Centre Slateks in Slatina.
The Slovenian Emigrants' Association implemented the exhibition together with the Association of Slovenians »Triglav« from Banjaluka, as a special contribution on the occasion of marking the Slovenian Day. The exhibition was visited by many guests including deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia David Brozina, who also opened the exhibition, and consul of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banjaluka Branko Zupanc. Exhibition of photographs does not represent art only, it also incites special beauty of landscape, hidden details, that many do not notice but are visible to the photographer and worth showing.
