Anastazija Radić and Mateja Hričak enjoyed reciting the poem “Kako diši jesen”, which was followed by some students saying what autumn smelled like to them. So we could hear that autumn smelled like leaves, tangerines, rose hips, hazelnuts, pears, grapes and colours. The youngest students from Slatina and Banja Luka presented themselves by a known Slovenian song “Živali jeseni”, they loudly sang and showed what a hedgehog, swallow, squirrel and bear did before winter. Finally, the oldest students of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian sang the most famous Slovenian song about wine “En hribček bom kupil” introduced by Marina as follows: »Since some of the students of Slovenian grown up enough to try some wine we also learned the most famous Slovenian song on wine. It was written by Anton Martin Slomšek, and since Slovenians like singing it, it has become a folk song.« Marina Šopalović read something else about St. Martin holiday whereby it should be emphasized that it is a holiday which took place of a pagan thank-you holiday because that is the time when autumn works are finished and people want to show gratitude for good harvest and recommend themselves for the next year. We believe that students of Supply Teaching Lessons recommended themselves in some way for good harvest (for good knowledge of Slovenian).
