The presentation was followed by an exhibition of photographs depicting the past of the Slovenians described in the book.
Presentation was opened by Director of Kosovel Library, Mrs. Nadja Mislej-Bozic. The attendees were then greeted by Mrs. Ana Godnik, who was in charge of the programme. Following the songs of Trzic, performed by the choir from Sezana, the book was presented by author, Mrs. Vera Papez Adamic. The attendees were thereafter addressed by a great friend of the Slovenians of Banja Luka, the first ambassador of Slovenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Drago Mirosic, who had fine words for the Slovenians of Banja Luka and the activities of the Association of the Slovenians “TRIGLAV” from Banja Luka. The Association “Triglav” was presented by Mr. Darko Mijatovic, who thanked the hosts for a warm welcome and expressed his hope that the cooperation between the Slovenians of Banja Luka and Slatina and those of Sezana and other places of Primorski Kras, from which majority of the Slovenians of our area originate, will continue in the future. The hosts shared the same expectation.
This was followed by refreshment and signing of the book, in a pleasant atmosphere.
The monograph was previously presented in Banja Luka with a great success, while it will also be presented in Novo Mesto and Ljubljana in the near future.
