On September 3, 2021, on the playground of the Elementary School "Branko Radičević" in Banja Luka, children's games "Loptarija/Žogarija" were held as part of an international project led by the organizer from Ljubljana.
At the invitation of the author of the project Slavko Sakalšek, the event was attended by members of the Mixed Choir "Davorin Jenko" consisting of Nada Šunkić, Olga Suvajac and Miroslav Galič who sang 2 songs, one at the opening and the other at the end of the event.
The attendees were pleasantly surprised by the performance of our members and the organizer presented the Association with an appropriate recognition for participation. Congratulations also came from the Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković.
The author of the project, Slavko Sakalšek, said that this was a project that united, connected and called for love, peace and tolerance, and taught our children to nurture true life values from an early age. The mayor pointed out that through such projects, they learned solidarity, teamwork, developed a healthy competitive spirit, and at the same time met friends from other cities and countries. He thanked the organizers from Ljubljana, saying that the winning school of the Elementary School "Branko Radičević" would represent our city at the final competition in Ljubljana.
