Amorous yearning, old-city and folk songs accompanied by orchestra are well known to the audience of Banja Luka. Ensemble leader Zdravko Ćosić is known by his close entertainment of the audience. One could hear singing from the stage, but from the audience as well. Experience of older musicians encouraged and relaxed the performance of excellent singers of Oktet 9. Their repertoire was composed of Slovenian folk songs and songs that were and still are sung and thus popular despite the geographic, historical and generation differences. Those were known melodies although performed in a special way, not familiar by many. Their interpretation was welcomed by the audience.
