On Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, at the Pogačar Square in Ljubljana, the Union of Cultural Associations Ljubljana, in cooperation with the Slovenian Emigrants’ Society, hosted emigrants’ cultural groups which promote Slovenian national tradition outside the borders of Slovenia.

In addition to the choir of Slovenian Association “France Prešeren” from Skopje, a folklore group “Lipa” of the Slovenian Association from Munich and Serbian Cultural Group SKUD “Vidovdan”, which promotes Serbian national tradition in Slovenia, a performance was also given by our mixed choir “Davorin Jenko”, which was presented by the sponsors of the show as the biggest corpus outside the borders of Slovenia in the field of choir singing. The participants were greeted by the Mayor of Ljubljana Mr. Zoran Janković and the Secretary of the Slovenian Emigrants’ Society Mr. Janez Rogelj. Cultural event was held in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, which was followed by a traditional Slovenian lunch.
