MePZ "Davorin Jenko" is always happy to respond to the invitation of our friends from the ensemble "Banjalučki vez" and therefore on 26 February 2025 they performed again at their concert "Evening with Song".
The concert was held in the Small Hall of the Banski dvor, which was filled to the last seat. In a beautiful and positive mood, the visitors were ready to enjoy good music and song. With the first bars of the music, applause followed, and then beautiful old town songs, sevdalinka and beloved pop numbers followed.
After a block of songs, the first guests, the Ethno group "Belegzija", performed, which performed a collage of Macedonian ethno music on guitar and kaval. Our acquaintances Vukosav and Vaske also performed an original composition with a touch of jazz.
Another block of songs by the hosts followed, and after them, it was the turn of our choir. In such a beautiful atmosphere, the performance of our choir was excellent, they sang with ease from the heart. The audience felt it too, they received our choir's songs wonderfully and there was a lot of applause.
For our friends, the choir prepared a small gift, the work of our hardworking members of the “Zmijanjski vez” workshop.
As has become traditional, the concert ended with the joint song "Ko te ima taj te nema". Full of emotion, inspired, all the performers sang together and the Small Hall echoed with a magical song, laughter and applause.
