The past year of learning Slovenian for adult students was particularly interesting, thanks to our dear teacher Metoda.
We could hardly wait for Thursday to see what she had prepared for us, which part of Slovenia we would explore, what we didn't know about Slovenia, which dishes are characteristic of that area, which famous Slovenians were born there, what holidays are in Slovenia and many, many more interesting things. The highlight of the surprise was hanging out with the artist from Slovenj Gradec Ambrož Kvartič. But that wasn't enough for us, so we decided to hang out a little more before the holidays started. We agreed that with the help of the culinary section members, we would prepare bograč /goulash/, bring some wine and spend our merry hour with some cookies. After a rich meal, our teacher handed us Certificates of Attendance, and of course we took pictures. Olga gave the teacher a gift as a small token of appreciation. We continued our socializing by casually chatting over coffee prepared for us by our hard-working Ziza, and we were in no rush to go home.
