The month of December is a month of holidays, gifts, but it is also a month in which we summarize the results of our successful or unsuccessful projects, our realized or unfulfilled wishes.

It's New Year's time again. St. Nicholas has already walked through Slovenia, and Father Christmas and Santa Claus are still reading children's letters and preparing presents.

"At this sacred moment, our people are entering history, which will never be erased again," linguist Fran Ramovš began his first lecture at the newly founded University of Ljubljana on December 3, 1919.

Not a year can pass without the traditional celebration dedicated to St. Martin, and so not this year for the 21st time. On November 23, the Association of Slovenians celebrated this holiday, popularly known as St. Martin's Day.

Kamishibai is a form of storytelling with images. It comes from Japan. "Kami" means Japanese paper, and "whip" theatre or drama. The pictures come together in a small stage - "butai".

At the invitation of the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka, on November 15, 2019, an exhibition of illustrator Peter Škerl was opened.

On Thursday, November 14, Slovenian illustrator Peter Škerl introduced himself to the students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian.

In April, students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Slatina and Banja Luka were guests of Koper pupils, and on October 25, pupils from the Koper elementary school returned a visit.

The beginning of the school year in the supply teaching lessons of Slovenian in Banja Luka and Slatina is dedicated to preparing for the quiz.

On Friday evening, October 25, 2019, the Association of Slovenians of RS Triglav organized a literary evening in cooperation with the DRPD from Novo Mesto. The guest of the evening was Jadranka Matić Zupančič, a poet from Novo Mesto, with whom Suzana Krvavica spoke.
