Representatives of the Commission within the National Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia for relations with Slovenians Abroad made an official visits to Banja Luka on 9 and 10 April 2009.

The delegation was composed of president of the Commission - Mr. Miro Petek, Secretary - Katja Jerman, PhD, as well as a representative of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, Mr. Aleš Selan and the consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Sarajevo, Mr. Gregor Presker and, on that occasion, they visited the Council of Peoples of the Republic of Srpska, the National Minorities’ Council  within the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, as well as the Confederation of National Minorities of the Republic of Srpska.
Representatives also visited the premises of the National Minorities’ Club, where the members of the Association of the Slovenians “Triglav” presented the activities of the Association and informed them of the plans for the future.
