On Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 6 pm, a cultural event was held in honour of Prešeren's poetry, which was read and selected by students of the elective subject Slovenian language at the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka under the mentorship of their lecturer Assistant Professor, Janja Vollmaier Lubej, PhD.
Students read poetry from Prešeren's mature and late creative period, and the event motivated and thematically processed selected poems, fragments from Prešeren's life and briefly presented Prešeren's laureates, writer Feri Lainšček and architect Marko Mušič. In addition to the students, the event was also attended by students of the Slovenian language with the teacher Barbara Hanuš, MSc, and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka, Professor Biljana Babić, PhD.
