The 6th Cultural Festival by National Minorities active in the Republic of Srpska was organised on 25 September 2009.
There were 13 national minorities taking part in the programme.

The Association of the Slovenians was represented by choir “Davorin Jenko” and soloist Aleksandra Bilanović, “Mladi Jenkovci” and instrumental accompaniment, reciter Luka Đevenica and a duet citer from Novo mesto.
All participants wanted to show that they did not forget about their customs, music and language of their ancestors. It was with enthusiasm that many visitors observed the plentiful diversity of cultures, customs, dancing and songs, enriched by colourful national costumes.

On that occasion, a reception was organised by the House of Peoples, Government and the RS National Assembly for representatives of the national minorities’ associations.
In addition to president of the Association of the Slovenians “Triglav” Banja Luka, Mrs. Marija Grbić, the reception was attended by representative of the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, Mr. Aleš Selan, and Slovenian consul in Banja Luka, Mr. Aladar Belec.
