The camp for children of Slovenian origin in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place from 28-30 October 2022 in the Bočica mountain lodge near Kakanj.
Slovenian Association of Citizens "Jožef Špringer" Kakanj has traditionally organized such camps with the idea that children of Slovenian origin from associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina will get to know each other, socialize and learn the Slovenian language through various activities. Children from Slovenian associations from Slatina, Banja Luka, Zenica, Sarajevo, Kakanj and guests from Slovenia, students of Trbovlje Grammar School participated.
During the three-day gathering, a painting competition and social games, gathering around a campfire and a hike along mountain trails were organized. The weather served us well, so we could easily enjoy the nature, beautiful surroundings, good company and the hospitality of the members of the association from Kakanj.
