In Breznički Hum, from November 11-13, 2022, the "Europe is Easy" project was implemented, in which representatives of the municipalities of Breznički Hum (HR), Kruševo (SMK), Vrnjačka Banja (SRB), the Citizens' Association Danube 1245 Sremski Karlovci (SRB), Sopronkovesd Kozsegi Onkarmannyzat (HUN), Novo Mesto (SLO), Zavod Boter Novo Mesto (SLO), Comuna Joseni (ROM) and the Association of Slovenians Triglav Banja Luka (RS-BiH) participated.
We were welcomed by our friendly host, the mayor of the Municipality of Breznički Hum, Zoran Hegedić in the wonderful surroundings of Šafran winery.
On the first day of project implementation, project participants were presented, and a lecture on the EU and a round table on "Euroscepticism" were held.
On the second day, a plenary session was held on the topic "Experiences and importance of participation in European programs". Also, in continuation of the project implementation activities, a round table was held on the topic "European perspectives of young people" as well as a debate on the topic "European identity and how we see it".
On the third day of the implementation of the project, a round table was held on the topic of "Migrant crisis from the perspective of Croatia", where a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the participants of the project. In the past three days, the friendly hosts presented us with the sights of the municipality of Breznički Hum, among the topics of the project, a brass band and other performers were presented, whose performances we truly enjoyed.
Two exceptional events marked the previous weekend in Breznički Hum, namely the celebration of St. Martin with a wine baptism as well as a presentation of old gastronomic delicacies of the Breznički Hum area, carefully recorded by Mrs. Darinka Andrašek.
It is inevitable to mention the poetess Ljiljana Lipovec, who graced us with her poetry.
