At the invitation of the president of the Slovenian Cultural Association "Cankar" from Sarajevo, on May 27, 2023, representatives of our association attended a ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the restoration of "Cankar".
The ceremony was held in the Armed Forces Centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Sarajevo, and took place in a festive and jubilee atmosphere. Those present had the opportunity to enjoy the high-quality musical performances of the "Camerata Slovenica" choir, their mezzo-soprano soloists, the champion of the Sarajevo opera Aida Čorbadžić, but also through the arranged dialogue to get to know the famous Slovenian and Yugoslav actress Milena Zupančič.
After the ceremony, there was a joint gathering in the hall of the Centre, where we had the opportunity to renew some old acquaintances and friendships, but also to establish new contacts and agree on cooperation between Slovenian associations.
