On July 3, the Embassy of Slovenia presented 3D Kranjska bees (3D Kranjica) in cooperation with the Association of Amputees UDAS in the Delta shopping center in Banja Luka.

The 3D-Kranjica promotion aimed to highlight the importance of the role that bees play as the most important pollinators that ensure ecosystem health, food and food safety, sustainable agriculture and biodiversity, and significantly contribute to mitigating climate change and preserving the environment.

3D-Kranjica was created during the Slovenian presidency of the Council of the European Union, and then it was exhibited in the Slovenian pavilion at the Expo 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai, where it attracted the attention of almost a million visitors. After Dubai, Ljubljana and Celje, 3D-Kranjica arrived in Banja Luka.

At the 3D Kranjica promotion, visitors had the opportunity to taste honey and other honey products created as part of a joint project for mine victims in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ceremony was enhanced by the tones of a Slovenian song performed by members of the "Davorin Jenko" Mixed Choir.

The 3D Kranjska bee model will be exhibited in the Delta Planet Banja Luka shopping center until July 5, 2023, after which it will be presented in Sarajevo.
