The Association of Slovenians "Lipa" from Prijedor invited us to a traditional Christmas get-together, which has been organized every year since the association was founded.
Friends and members of the Association gathered at the 26th Christmas party in the beautiful surroundings of the Prijedor Hotel. The festive atmosphere was completed by a mix of Slovenian songs accompanied by accordion, performed together by the Association's singing group and singers from the Association for the Preservation of Tradition.
The guests were greeted by the president of the association, Alenka Uduč. On behalf of the city administration, the guests were greeted by the head of the Department for Culture, International Cooperation, Sports and Non-Governmental Organizations, Aleksandar Milješić. The president wished the guests happy holidays.
Socializing continued and we enjoyed the music with a glass of wine and danced of course. Among the last guests, we thanked the hosts for a pleasant dinner and said goodbye to them. Christmas always brings a special festive mood. Since Christmas is the time of giving, we are grateful to our citizens of Prijedor for giving us another wonderful evening.
