We were happy to respond to the invitation of our friends from the Association of Hungarians of the Republic of Srpska "Magyar Szo" to attend the "Days of Hungarian Culture".
The gathering was organised in the restaurant "Aquana" in a pleasant Christmas atmosphere with the sounds of the tamburitza orchestra from Čantavir. In addition to the Honorary Consul of Hungary Slaven Grbić, guests from the city administration, representatives of national minority associations, members of the Hungarian Association and friends of Hungary, the hosts also hosted Hungarians from Macedonia.
In her opening speech, president Iren Milivojević welcomed all those present and emphasized that this traditional event was organised to summarize the achievements of the association at the end of the year and confirm its commitment to preserving and promoting Hungarian culture and tradition. The cultural and artistic part of the program featured performances by members of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Sveti Sava" from Banja Luka.
We enjoyed good red wine and dinner with spicy Hungarian specialties, and we also sang. In such a beautiful atmosphere, accompanied by representatives of Italian and Montenegrin national minorities, we were not in a hurry to go home.
