The Slovenian language classes for adults are always well attended.
Our teacher Metoda is responsible for this, she always prepares very interesting topics for us, introduces us to some interesting information about Slovenia that we did not know, we compare how it is here and we all participate in the conversation. The class usually ends with a song by a famous Slovenian singer, so we also get to know that region. We are never bored and often stay longer.
Metoda, with the help of the younger students, decorated and arranged the classroom, so when we came to class, the atmosphere was pleasantly festive. We also brought some Christmas treats and wine and had fun talking to the sounds of Slovenian pop music. Everyone was entitled to one musical wish. As a highlight of that pleasant evening, something happened that no one expected, Santa Claus visited us! We were really surprised, but also happy because it brought us back to our childhood for a moment. We took gifts and, of course, immortalized it with a photo. Santa didn't forget our dear hard-working teacher and brought her beautifully decorated, handmade, woolen socks. Ho-Ho-Ho
