Just like every summer this year we also took part at the gathering of students of the Slovenian Language and Culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year’s gathering took place in Sarajevo, on 5 and 6 June.

The programme which was performed by students from Banja Luka and Slatina focused on the youngest and those who only started learning Slovenian. Children presented themselves with a recital by Janez Kolenc, Otroštvo v srcu and Slovenian folk songs for children. They also sang a folk song Marko skače and Naša četica, by J. Bitenc.
In the evening we watched the Romeo and Juliet play performed by Slovenian Educational Association from Rijek, Croatia. The following day we visited the National Museum in Sarajevo, which delighted both children and older visitors.
