During two weeks, children and young people who attended the school learned Slovenian, got familiar with culture and enjoyed natural beauties of Slovenia. The school started on Monday, July 5th, 2010 by an admission test, based on which 155 participants from 13 different countries were classified into 14 groups. The first group comprised young people who spoke no Slovenian, while the 14th group comprised advanced level students, who had already mastered Slovenian. In the afternoon hours, students were engaged in various sport, cultural and entertaining activities prepared by assistants from the Youth Summer School. During the weekend they visited Velika planina (Big Mountain), Lipica and Slovenian coast. At the end of the Summer School, on July 16th, there was a performance where all groups presented themselves.
