On Saturday, September 11th, supply teaching lessons of Slovenian started in Banja Luka, too. There were quite a lot of students and their parents at the introductory part and the premises of the Association Trigav were completely filled.

As in Slatina, teacher Valentina Gradič used a Power Point presentation and songs to present herself and her plans for the work with students. This year, students will use books Dober dan, slovenščina and S slovenščino skozi letne čase, and the teacher will also use a workbook.
Lessons will be organized on Saturdays morning as follows:
•         9.00–10.30 – elementary school students, beginner
•         10.45–12.15 – elementary school students, advanced
•         12.30–14.00 – high school students, advanced.
Older students (advanced level) have agreed to meet on Fridays, from 20.00 to 21.30.
In the end of the introductory meeting a song was heard on the premises of the Association – Naša četica koraka, a children’s song, and, surely, there will be a lot of other opportunities for students to learn other Slovenian songs. Teacher Valentina Gradič promised that students will get familiar with the Slovenian language and culture through songs as well.
