Members of the Union of Slovenian Associations “Europe Now” convened in Banja Luka, on Saturday, November 20th, 2010.

Talks were held about the report of the activities completed to date and also about projects planned for the next year (gathering of students of supply teaching lessons of the Slovenian language in Banja Luka, the 1st camping in Prijedor, celebration of 20 years of independence of the Republic of Slovenia in Sarajevo, etc.). The meeting was attended by consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka Mr. Aladar Belec, who stressed the importance of improving communication among associations and joint work on projects. Upon the invitation by coordinator of Eurourad, the meeting was also attended by Mrs. Petra Aničić, project manager of Euroured d.o.o. Rijeka. Mrs. Aničić spoke about her experience of work done so far, projects applied to call for proposals for Cross-Border Cooperation between Slovenia and Croatia where Slovenian associations from Croatia take part as partners. She also proposed cooperation with Mrs. Nevija Božič, project management adviser and director of Euro Nobile d.o.o. Sečovlje. Conclusion was drawn that cooperation should be established in the form of a seminar on possibilities of applying and writing project proposals for cross-border cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
