The Culture Week was organised at different sites in Novo mesto from the 15th -20th June including evenings of folklore, poetry, prose, art of painting, music and songs from all over the world. Choir “Davorin Jenko” from the Association “Triglav” took part at the joint event on June 18, 2011 in the Cultural Centre “Janez Trdina”. In addition to our choir, there were also the Society of Interest Activities of Pensioners Novo mesto, Albanian group “Dardanet” from Novo mesto, Serbian Cultural Association Novo mesto, Croatian Cultural Association Novo mesto, Cultural Association “Žumberak” Novo mesto, Cultural Association “Mladost” from Kotorsko (BiH), Aida Čorbadžić, mezzo-soprano from Sarajevo (BiH), Cultural Association “Ilija Kisić Zelenika” from Herceg Novi (Montenegro), Slovenian Cultural Association “Cankar” from Sarajevo (BiH) and representatives from Macedonia.
