The Association "Triglav" Banja Luka and Society for the Development of Voluntary Work from Novo mesto published a bilingual children’s book by author Ivanka Mestnik "An Excursion to the Blue Planet”. The book was presented on Friday, 18 November 2011 at 18 hrs in the Children’s Library Borik.
The book promotion was attended by representatives of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, Mrs. Branka Bukovec from the Society for the Development of Voluntary Work from Novo mesto, Mr. Branko Zupanc – Head of Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka, pupils of the Elementary School “Ivo Andrić” together with their teachers and a number of members of the Association “Triglav”.
Beside the author, impressions about the book were shared by translator Milan Stjepanović, an author Aleksandra Čvorović and illustrator of the book Vesna Lenić, who is also a member of the Association “Triglav”. Our two members, Vanja Prosen and Jovana Dimitrijević, read parts of the book in Serbian and Slovenian.
