For a number of years it has been a custom to organise evenings with Zdravko Ćosić’s ensemble in spring in the small hall of Banski dvor.
Many inhabitants of Banja Luka are eager to attend those events. Those are not strictly programme evenings but evenings of socialising, enjoying the sounds of tamburitza, singing some good old songs, listening songs of some well known and unknown authors from Banja Luka and vicinity, but also presenting small choirs and instrumental groups.
On 25 April our choir “Davorin Jenko” took part at those evenings. They sang two Slovenian folk songs.
Atmosphere was pleasant and there was no room for stage fright. Numerous people were there and they enjoyed the evening, sang together and shared feelings of nostalgia.
