On 4 May 2012, in the Exhibition Hall of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor members of the Association of Photographers Janez Puhar from Kranj presented their photographs.

On that occasion, the attendees were welcomed by a member of the Association of Photographers Mr. Vasja Doberlet. During his speech, he informed the attendees about the very beginning of their work, as early as in 1910, activities, good network with associations of photographers in Slovenia and throughout the world as well as successful results from the very beginning to present. He thanked the representatives of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor and the Association of Slovenians "Triglav"  Banja Luka for organising the exhibition and hospitality during their stay in Banja Luka.

The exhibition was opened by the head of the Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka, Mr. Brane Zupanc.

It was the second time that photographers-amateurs managed to break the monotony of everyday life with their photographs.

Photographs of twelve authors encompass landscapes, meanders, details of everyday life, details of objects, photographs of macro world, people, their mimics and gestures, travel articles and photographs. Perhaps Niko Sladič was the most successful in something that mostly attracted visitors, .... „a photographer is not interested in a photograph as an objective camera shot and a recording of a state of affairs, but rather as reshaping of reality to a new formal and rich whole as well as visualisation of an idea or author’s statement“. Photographs, whether black and white or in colour were unique each time. In our stressful daily lives we do not see many things surrounding us, we do not have time or sense for them. This time, “masters” of photography showed us all that in this exhibition. They showed them from their different viewpoints however each time realistic.
It is worth seeing the exhibition of extraordinary photographers-amateurs, who dedicate their free time to the love for photography. Exhibition is open until 16 May 2012.
