Slovenian Emigrant Association and Union of Friends of the Youth of Slovenia took eight children from the Association of Slovenians from Banja Luka to Zambratija. After ten days of summer holidays they returned on 11 July 2012 at 14.00 hrs to Ljubljana.
They arrived in three buses, first boys then girls.
Although they were tired of travelling, boys spoke about the holiday and one could see that they had a good time, the Slovenian language did not cause any problems to them, they met new friends and clearly said that they were looking forward to their mothers’ cuisine.
Girls, who came by the last bus, had much more energy. They were sad the holiday was over and that they had to part from their new friends. They were parting for a long time and even shed some tears.
We hope that friendships among the youth will remain. Modern communication devices allow that.
We took some photos to record those moments.
