Besides the author Marinič, speeches at the opening ceremony were held by Mr. Milorad Petrić, Director of the Culture Centre Banski dvor, Mr. Bojan Božić, Director of Božidar Jakac Gallery from Kostanjevica na Krki and President of the Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo Mesto, with whom our Association has successfully cooperated for several years. On that occasion, our choir Davorin Jenko performed songs, as it usually does at culture events organised by Slovenians of Banja Luka and thus enrich them.
There were many interested visitors who gathered that day in the Exhibition Room of Banski dvor and reviews were good, which shows the best how successful the exhibition was. It was also encouraging for our Association to continue with organising culture events and thus represent Slovenia and Slovenians living outside their mother country.
