On 27 September 2012, in the Cultural Centre Banski dvor an exhibition of painter Andreja Potočar from Novo mesto was opened. At the opening, the attendees were greeted by the Head of Consular Office of the Republic of Slovenia in Banja Luka Mr. Branko Zupanc.
In his speech he extended special gratitude to the organisers of the exhibition: Society for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto, Association of Slovenians "Triglav" Banja Luka and Cultural Centre Banski dvor Banja Luka. He emphasised that he was especially proud of successful cooperation between the Republics, mutual cooperation between the two cities, Novo mesto and Banja Luka, as well as two associations ensuring that the cultural connectivity be more strengthened. Foreword "Perspective from the inside", written in the catalogue by custodian of Gallery Božidar Jakac in Kostanjevica na Krki Goran Milovanović, was read to the audience by vice-president of the Association of Slovenians "Triglav", Mrs. Marija Petković. Exhibition hall of Banski dvor is magnificent and the pleasant atmosphere was contributed also by members of mixed choir “Davorin Jenko”, who sang two Slovenian folk songs, thus strengthening the spirit of culture. The exhibition was opened by Director of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor, Mr. Petrić. Paintings by young artist Andreja Potočar, her landscapes in which you can sense the spirit of the area with certain local features and their importance, known to the artist and sensed by her were in the following way described by in the foreword by custodian Goran Milovanović: "I am sure that many of those who stop by the paintings will capture the resonance of own and author’s inner worlds, sense the contemplation and timelessness of nature, merge in colours and suddenly, it will be completely irrelevant from which perspective and in which way the author viewed our planet. We must not forget that often Andreja views our area from the perspective of a parachutist. Maybe only Gods could view us from that place?"
