In the City Hall of the Cultural Centre Banski dvor, our famous fellow townsman, Zdravko Ćosić with his ensemble organises evenings with tamburitza and urban traditional songs every second Monday in a month.
His friends musicians, poets and humourists are invited to the concerts as guests and they eagerly respond to invitations because concerts turn into relaxed socialising accompanied by songs and laughter. Nebojša Kuštrinović as the facilitator makes complete excellent atmosphere at the concert with his humour.
This Monday, 5 November 2012, guests to the concert were the Libertango sextet and mixed choir «Davorin Jenko» of the Association of Slovenians «Triglav» from Banja Luka. The Libertango sextet is composed of professional musicians who play the music of Astor Piazzola. Choir «Davorin Jenko» is often a guest to these concerts and this time they sang two songs: „Rasti mi rasti travca zelena“ and „Dobra volja“.
We like taking part at these concerts because it is a good chance for us to present to the audience of Banja Luka Slovenian folk songs which are very nicely accepted by them. Concerts are traditionally closed by a song sang by both the participants and audience.
