On 29 November, we were paid a visit by pupils and teachers from the Elementary School Livada. This school in Ljubljana is mainly attended by pupils who are not Slovenians by ethnicity.
This is the second year that Goran Popović, school principal, Slovenian teacher Meta Rogelj and pupils have organised »psychological workshops«, through which they wish to help pupils and their parents as well as their teachers. Through a game of roles they present how we sometimes do something wrong and how it could be done differently. Four scenes, at school and home, were played to pupils of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian in Banja Luka. A discussion followed the scenes. It was interesting to listen to comments by pupils and different views of the importance of upbringing and education. School principal, two teachers and four pupils came to Banja Luka as part of the project „Let's Overcome Differences“. They were guests at the Elementary School Georgi Stojkov Rakovski, where pupils and teachers from Belgrade also joined them. On Friday, 30 November, they had time to tour Banja Luka. Nataša Kajmaković took them for a tour giving them interesting explanations of historical ages of the city development. In the evening, the guests from Ljubljana visited the premises of the Association, stayed overnight at their Slovenian peers and on Saturday, 1 December joined us at holiday workshops.
