On Tuesday, 18 December, we were visited by an old man with white beard. Children prepared a short programme for him and he cheered them up with some presents.
The event was attended by pupils of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian, their parents and members of the Association. There were approximately 70 gifts prepared – that is the number of children in Banja Luka and Slatina attending the Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian. We did not forget the youngest either, those who still do not attend the lessons. They also received presents. In addition to sweets, each present contained a book because we want that children read and thus expand their vocabulary and learn Slovenian.
The event was followed by pleasant socializing and discussion on the premises of the Association.
Year 2012, in which the Association of the Slovenians “Triglav” carried out a number of interesting activities, ended with a pleasant event and presents for pupils.
Views of the members of the Association are already turned towards the year 2013.
