On Saturday, 23 February, in the Youth Centre, an evening of poetry and music was performed by guests from Slovenia: actress Saša Pavček and musicians Aljoša Rijavec, Šemsudin – Dino Džopa and Jan Oršič. An evening of love songs and sensual music thrilled all visitors.

In the poetry collection “Dress me in a kiss” Saša Pavček is unbelievably honest in telling a love story. Her lyrics are full of faith in fulfilling the need for closeness. It is a vulnerable, deeply personal poetry, inviting us to give in. Young musicians composed music for Saša’s lyrics and it even more deepens the sense of poetry whilst at the same time uses universal language which requires no translation. Rhythm of the play dictates the meaning of the text and music helps us to sense versatile nature and melody of words in a more intensive manner.

Top artists were with us this time and they played “Dress me in a kiss” in many places in Slovenia and even in Argentina. We were thrilled by harmony of words, verses and music. We lived through the confession of the actress, sucked in words, sounds and pictures and finally expressed our gratitude for their show in Banja Luka. No one was indifferent after the play and creators also felt that by harmonious link of music and poetry they managed to touch the visitors.
