Jelena Sitar and Igor Cvetko, puppeteers from Ljubljana, together with students of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian from Banja Luka and Slatina, prepared a puppeteer workshop.
On Friday, they were making masks and puppets the whole day, on Saturday the decided on the roles and practiced and on Sunday they already showed results of their work. A performance “A balloon can also be my umbrella” resulted from the workshop, while children played it to audience who filled in theatre Jazavac. A fairytale by Ela Peroci took us to the Land of Hats. More than 30 children made a performance accompanied by music – one could hear sounds of accordion, guitar and violin. Photographs can tell more than words although it is rather difficult to describe what the children had to make and learn in order to make the performance.
