On 10 May 2008, at the initiative of the Association Triglav, as a guest at the closing ceremony of Choir Gathering in Banja Luka 2008, men’s choir Svoboda from Trbovlje also participated.

The event which was organised by the Serbian Singing Society Jedinstvo gathered choirs from Europe and lasted for ten days, while our guests received special attention.
Guests from Trbovlje presented themselves to the audience in Banja Luka by Slovenian folk songs. Their performance was remarkable and at high-level, which was rewarded by the audience by excited applause. Organiser and head of Serbian Singing Society Jedinstvo Mr. Nemanja Savić awarded them with a plaque containing acknowledgments for their participation, commended their artistic performance and expressed his wish to have them again taking part at the gatherings in the future.
At the cocktail that followed after the concert, our guests socialised with top persons of Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska, including Mayor, Mr. Dragoljub Davidović, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Anton Kasipović and archpriest Mr. Ratko Radujkovic. Later on, guests from Trbovlje socialised with members of our Association, and although short, it was very nice and successful.
