Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian from Banja Luka, Teslić and Prijedor joined the summer readers.
In the City Library of Ljubljana, where the programme to encourage reading is being prepared, they invite all children to read for half an hour during the summer holiday of 30 days. They can read whatever they want: books, comics, articles from magazines, journals, recipes... Children have their reading lists where they note down what they read and the adults confirm it by their signatures. In September all summer readers got a T-shirt and an acknowledgement for participation.
»Half an hour a day makes boredom away!« is a well-known slogan of all summer readers! Congratulations to our persistent readers: Andrej Drinić, Aleksandar Zrnić and Rastko Zrnić from Banja Luka, Jelena Župančič and Tanja Savić from Teslić, as well as Emilija Šurlan from Prijedor.
