It has been ten years since the establishment of the Union of National Minorities of the RS. This year is a jubilee anniversary and all members of national minorities gave even more importance to the preparations.
In the small city hall of Banski dvor in Banja Luka we held a formal observance on 26 September 2013. It really was a formal one. In addition to representatives of national minorities, the observance was attended by leading people of political circles as well as the city authority and members of consular offices. The event was also attended by all those people who are responsible for the establishment of the Union.
All the speakers, RS National Assembly Speaker Igor Radojičić, chairman of the Academy of Science and Arts of the RS Mr. Rajko Kuzmanović, the then mayor of Banja Luka Mr. Dragoljub Davidović and Mr. Miloš Mišković, stated that they all felt wealthy as they lived in a multicultural society. One has to appreciate it, support it and be happy to build together a better future for all of us who live in the shared area.
