A nation is rich because of its language, its culture and the preservation of all that. We, who live outside our homeland, know it best and wish to preserve it all, not only for ourselves but also to share it in the area where we live. Multi-cultural society is something we should all appreciate and, if we do, it is extremely powerful. Every year, we want to show our cultural heritage.
»A Chest of National Heritage« was rather plentiful this year. All ethnic groups who live in the territory of the Republic of Srpska owe special gratitude to all those who participated in the joint project especially the director and set designer. We all worked together and accomplished success.
All associations of national minorities who live in the territory of the RS presented themselves in a short programme.
This time, the Association of the Slovenians of the RS »Triglav« presented a young group of folklorists. Under the leadership of choreographer and mentor Majda Nemanič they danced Slovenian folk dances. They were excellent. The participants are below 15 and it was the first time for them to learn folklore dance. The folklore group project was jointly implemented by the Society for the Development of Voluntary Work Novo mesto and Association »Triglav« Banja Luka and successfully finished. The results of the agreement and implementation of the project were visible during the show. National culture of peoples of the RS was presented on 27 September 2013 at the National Theatre of the RS Banja Luka. The differences among peoples represent a link of peace and unique cohabitate not only in this area but in many areas throughout the world. We appreciate that!
