Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian who came to Banja Luka from different places to the quiz competition showed excellent knowledge about animals. The quiz was led by Darko Hederih – author of favourite show Little Grey Cells.

»His homeland is Asia. The biggest one comes from Siberia. His weight is above 200 kg. Do you know who is that?«. Those who were with us on Saturday, 19 October in Hotel Ćetojević, would immediately reply it was a tiger. Teams of Slovenian associations from different places showed a great knowledge about animals. There were twelve teams from Subotica, Novi Sad, Niš, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Teslić, Kakanj, Slatina and Banja Luka. Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian showed they knew a lot about the topics, they all knew Slovenian names for animals. They were not competing only in names – those who got to semi-finals and finals had to know even more. The winning team was the one from Tuzla. However, the aim of the competition was not merely to compete, the most important was socialising and obtaining new knowledge. There were interesting questions and interesting answers and we all learned a lot from that.

Audience, competitors and leader of the quiz made sure the atmosphere was good. The quiz was prepared and led by author of the quiz Little Grey Cells Darko Hederih, assisted by Slovenian actor Pavle Ravnohrib, whom we know from a Slovenian series where he played France Prešeren. Prior to the final event he recited part of Prešeren’s poem “Zdravljica”.
