The year comes to an end and Santa Claus paid us a visit.
On Thursday, 12 December, we gathered at hotel Ćetojević.
Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian prepared a programme whereupon they loudly called the good man who came and brought a lot of presents. He brought a big basket of presents for each child and in addition to sweets there was a book in each package. Santa Claus had long white beard, grey suit and a jacket – he was exactly as we know him from Slovenian songs.
Students of supply teaching lessons showed that they were very diligent throughout the whole year. Children from Slatina made a puppet performance Katarina and the King, the youngest students from Banja Luka a puppet performance Bon appetite, rabbit, older children from elementary school a puppet performance Elmer and Bear’s Honey Biscuits. At this year’s performance we had guests from Teslić. They presented themselves with songs White Snowflake and Snowflakes. The hall was full of people and they all greeted the participants with a loud applause. Thereupon, Santa Claus gave them presents and then it was time to have a relaxing time with some buffet.
