At the Slovenian Day in Slatina, students of the Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian presented themselves by a folklore performance and a stand Best wishes, Slovenia.

This is the second school year that the students, under the mentorship of Ms. Majda Nemanič from Novo mesto, have been learning Slovenian folk songs and dances and they always show something new.

In May, as guests, they performed at the state gathering of children folklore groups in Šentjernej, while this is the second time for them to present themselves at the event in Slatina. All visitors were interested in their performance and strongly applauded them.

The students were also present at the stand. The presented objects originating within the project Best wishes, Slovenia. Pictures, bracelets and flowers we had made at creative workshops were sent to different states and our stand was decorated by flags and flowers made by our peers from all over the world. Among the objects there was a red bus we had got from London. For visitors we prepared a quiz What do you know about Slovenia? Visitors were very interested in searching for answers to our questions and therefore this quiz contributed to spreading knowledge about the country of our ancestors.
