This year again students of Supply Teaching Lessons of Slovenian presented themselves on the occasion of the European Language Day at the National Library in Banja Luka.
They had a stand which attracted a lot of attention. Students from different schools chose nice thoughts written in Slovenian. Did they understand them? No, they asked us to translate them. It was with a lot of interest that they tasted strudel and we told them it was a traditional Slovenian dessert.
Slovenian word on the occasion of the European Language Day was not heard only at the National Library but also at schools attended by our students. Aleksandar and Rastko Zrnić recited the poem by Nataša Konc Lorenzutti “Declination” at Elementary School “Ivo Andrić”, while Katarina Marinković said something about herself in Slovenian at Elementary School “Borisav Stanković”.
