On Saturday, 13 December, students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian gathered in the National Minorities' Club. They spent the entire morning in preparing decorations, greeting cards, calendars and sweets.

Dragana and Vesna prepared the sweetest workshop. Dragana baked a biscuit and children filled it with cream and decorated it. A tasty biscuit came out of it. They also made cocoa balls. The second workshop was led by Alenka. Skillful children fingers made beautiful greeting cards. In the third workshop, led by Barbara, students made a calendar for 2015. Throughout the year they can have it on their desks. Our workshops were visited by Natalija Veselič Martinjak, a teacher of art in the Elementary School Livada from Ljubljana. She passed on greetings from pupils from Ljubljana and also brought their letters. Natalija led the students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian in making decorations for a New Year tree. Natalija was accompanied by her son who played accordion and therefore we ended our December holiday workshops with a song. Students learned how to sing a Slovenian folk song „Lisička je prav zvita zver“.
