Santa Claus is rather busy in Banja Luka because there are a lot of pupils of Slovenian waiting for him. On 17 December, he came on the premises of the National Minorities' Club and shared presents.

There were 69 presents - 19 for pre-school children, 44 for elementary school and 6 for secondary school students. Students of supply teaching lessons of Slovenian prepared a programme for him. They spoke about the happiness. Nowadays, when all our wishes are directed to happiness we, very often, think about what we wish for ourselves. Is happiness a lot of money or a lot of free time? Good friends or interesting computer games? Students presented thoughts of poets and also their own wishes. Children are happy when they do not have too much homework, when they get good grades and also when they go to Slovenia. When you are young, happiness is when you choose courage and do not allow the big ones to scare you off. This was presented to us by our youngest pupils who performed a puppeteer play. We also saw a short play “How Mr. Philodendron looked for happiness”. The story was written by Andrej Rozman Roza, and it was played by pupils from Slatina. They say that only a happy person can make other people happy. This evening, both chaildren and Santa Claus brought a lot of joy among the attendees who filled out the premises of the National Minorities' Club.
